Atlantic Group is hiring a Facilities Coordinator (Temporary) in New York, NY. In this temp-to-perm role with our client, you will support daily operations by maintaining common areas, assisting with deliveries, handling event setups, and addressing service requests. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in facilities, hospitality, or building services who are seeking a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities as the Facilities Coordinator (Temporary):
- Guest Services: Greet and assist visitors, residents, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other common areas.
- Operational Support: Handle deliveries, packages, and item transportation while assisting with room setups and events.
- Waste & Repairs: Remove trash and recycling regularly and support maintenance staff with minor repairs and upkeep.
- Safety & Compliance: Monitor and report hazards or damages while ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications for the Facilities Coordinator (Temporary):
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in facilities coordination, hospitality, custodial services, or building operations preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn work order or facility management systems.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and customer service skills with reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
