Job Overview – Environmental Project Manager (Engineering):
Our client is seeking a skilled Environmental Project Manager (Engineering) to oversee and manage water and wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate will bring a background in engineering, environmental science, or geology, with hands-on experience in water or wastewater treatment facilities.
Location: Lehigh County, PA
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000/year + bonus
Responsibilities as the Environmental Project Manager:
- Project Management: Lead and manage water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise in the planning, design, and execution of environmental projects.
- Compliance: Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with engineers, geologists, and other professionals to achieve project goals.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
Qualifications for the Environmental Project Manager:
- Experience: 3-10 years of experience managing water or wastewater treatment projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- Licenses: Valid Driver’s License; PA State Water or Wastewater license preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Work Schedule: Willingness to work overtime as required.
