Job Overview – Entry-Level Phlebotomist:
Our healthcare client in Port Saint Lucie, FL, is seeking an Entry-Level Phlebotomist to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage a high volume of patients, collecting and preparing blood samples for lab testing while ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for each patient.

Compensation: $17 – $20/hour
Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Rotational Saturdays)

Responsibilities as the Entry-Level Phlebotomist:

  • Blood Collection: Safely and accurately collect blood samples from patients for lab testing.
  • Specimen Processing: Prepare blood specimens for laboratory analysis, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Patient Relations: Create a positive and professional atmosphere for patients, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience during blood draws.
  • Confidentiality: Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain integrity in all processes.

Qualifications for the Entry-Level Phlebotomist:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 6+ months of Phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric blood draws (1+ years preferred).
  • Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (Medical assistant or paramedic training is an advantage).
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, with prior experience in retail or service environments.
  • Location Requirement: Must reside within a 20-25 minute commute for flexible coverage.
