Job Overview – Employee Relations Representative:
Step into a key role as an Employee Relations Representative with our client in Hartford, CT. You’ll lead employee relations processes, offering consultation, conflict resolution, and support for workplace issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Compensation: $40 – $45/hour
Location: Hartford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Employee Relations Representative:
- Employee Relations: Execute employee relations policies and practices, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on employment issues.
- Resolution: Facilitate conflict resolution, ensuring effective outcomes for performance concerns, disciplinary action, and other workplace disputes.
- Case Management: Track and manage employee relations activities, identifying potential risks and trends, and develop proactive solutions.
- Collaboration: Partner with HR, Benefits, Legal, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and laws while maintaining a positive employee experience.
- Investigations: Conduct investigations into workplace concerns and complaints, providing recommendations to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Qualifications for the Employee Relations Representative:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years in Employee Relations with solid HR policy and conflict resolution expertise.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive issues.
- Knowledge: Expertise in employment laws, case management, and workplace investigations.
- Attributes: Independent, ethical, and skilled in managing multiple priorities.
