Job Overview – Employee Relations Manager:
Take on a temporary role as an Employee Relations Manager with our client, leading efforts to manage employment risks and resolutions, ensuring a compliant, harassment-free work environment in line with all relevant employment laws.
Compensation: $90,000 – $95,000/year
Location: Worcester, MA
Responsibilities as the Employee Relations Manager:
- Leadership Communication: Collaborate across Corporate functions and HR teams to address team member issues and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
- Training & Development: Provide training on DEI, employment laws, and company policies, ensuring consistent application.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitate dispute meetings and investigate allegations of discrimination or harassment.
- Policy Administration: Guide management on HR policies, leave administration, and crisis management.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee departmental goals, monitor effectiveness, and implement necessary changes.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, assist with legal defense, and ensure adherence to regulations.
Qualifications for the Employee Relations Manager:
- Experience: 5-10 years in associate relations/investigations, with leadership experience in a retail environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills; experience in developing plans to improve engagement.
- Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze, interpret, and present information effectively in various settings.
