Job Overview – Document Control Specialist (Quality & Compliance):

Manage documentation systems in a regulated environment, including master files, change orders, and record retention, while ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO standards. This temporary role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong organizational skills and experience in quality-driven industries such as medical devices or life sciences.
Responsibilities as the Document Control Specialist (Quality & Compliance):
- Change Order Management: Review, approve, and process change orders in PLM systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Documentation Control: Create, update, and maintain master files while organizing and filing controlled documents.
- Data & Record Management: Maintain supplier data in PLM and oversee record retention, including retrieval of archived documentation.
- Compliance Oversight: Support GMP/ISO requirements through accurate recordkeeping and audit readiness.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to assist with audits, inspections, and documentation needs.
Qualifications for the Document Control Specialist (Quality & Compliance):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Up to 2 years in document control within a QC, GMP, or ISO-certified environment required, with experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) with expertise in Word for documentation control and familiarity with PLM systems preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational and clerical skills with attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively.
