Atlantic Group is hiring a Document Control Specialist (Hybrid) in Boston, MA for our client. In this role, you will support document control, project coordination, and SharePoint-based workflow management across engineering and infrastructure projects. You will manage controlled project documentation, maintain organized SharePoint libraries, and partner with project teams to support reporting, scheduling, and compliance across active project workflows.

Responsibilities as the Document Control Specialist:

  • Document Control Management: Manage SharePoint document libraries, controlled workflows, permissions, and folder structures for project documentation.
  • Project Documentation Administration: Collect, validate, upload, and maintain engineering, regulatory, financial, and other key project documents.
  • Revision & Compliance Control: Apply naming conventions, metadata, revision tracking, and version control standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Submittals & Deliverable Tracking: Manage transmittals, submittal logs, document trackers, and deliverable timelines to support project execution.
  • Project Coordination & Reporting: Support project managers with meeting coordination, status reporting, documentation updates, and general administrative project support.

Qualifications for the Document Control Specialist:

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in document control, project support, or project coordination within technical project environments is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of document control processes, technical documentation workflows, version control, submittals, transmittals, and project deliverable management is required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word, is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional project teams are essential.
