Join our client as a Director of Business Development in Philadelphia, PA, driving growth in the construction sector. This high-impact role involves leveraging your industry network to secure new projects, managing the RFI/RFP process, and building strategic relationships with decision-makers in Healthcare, Higher Education, and related sectors.

Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities as the Director of Business Development:

  • Business Growth: Identify and pursue new opportunities in the construction sector, focusing on Healthcare and Higher Education.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at hospital systems, higher education facilities, and architectural and engineering firms.
  • Proposal Leadership: Lead the RFI/RFP process, collaborating with internal teams to deliver competitive and compelling submissions.
  • Networking: Actively participate in industry organizations such as GBCA and CREW to stay connected with upcoming capital projects and market trends.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and provide insights into upcoming projects to position the company as a leading contender.

Qualifications for the Director of Business Development:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of Business Development experience in the Construction sector, with a strong network in Healthcare and Higher Education.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of capital projects and the RFI/RFP process (construction industry experience preferred).
  • Networking Skills: Established connections with architectural and engineering firms, as well as decision-makers at hospital systems and higher education institutions.
  • Professional Involvement: Active participation in industry organizations like GBCA and CREW.
  • Skills & Attributes: Exceptional networking, communication, and strategic planning skills; ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
