Job Overview – Director of Administration:
Step into a critical leadership role as the Director of Administration with our client in Boston, MA. In this position, you will oversee administrative operations, ensure compliance, and support organizational efficiency. Collaborating across teams, you will drive improvements, manage project coordination, and provide key operational support to achieve business goals.
Compensation: $85,000 – $125,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)
Responsibilities as the Director of Administration:
- Bid Management: Prepare, review, and execute bid documents, secure grants, and attend public bid openings.
- Project Administration: Oversee contract packages, permits, and compliance documentation for timely project readiness.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage subcontractor agreements and ensure accurate payments with Accounts Receivable.
- Employee Oversight: Lead onboarding, training, licensing renewals, and policy compliance.
- Community Relations: Handle inquiries, address complaints, and report project results and compliance goals.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage office operations, document handling, and refine policies for improved efficiency.
Qualifications for the Director of Administration:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in administrative, operations, or project management roles, ideally in construction or public works.
- Skills: Superior teamwork, problem-solving, and communication abilities with exceptional organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attributes: Strategic thinker, collaborative, accountable, and committed to ongoing professional growth.
