Job Overview – Demolition Project Manager (Construction):
Step into a leadership position as a Demolition Project Manager with our construction client in Philadelphia, PA, where you'll oversee demolition projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety and efficiency. In this role, you'll coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets, and drive projects to meet timelines and exceed expectations.
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000/year + bonus + vehicle allowance
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities as the Demolition Project Manager:
- Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of demolition projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, from full building demolitions to repurposing tasks.
- Management: Supervise project teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols, project plans, and schedules.
- Budgeting: Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and staying within financial targets.
- Compliance: Coordinate with local authorities for permits and ensure all demolition activities comply with relevant regulations and environmental standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure safety measures are implemented throughout the project.
Qualifications for the Demolition Project Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7-15 years of experience managing demolition projects, ranging from complete building demolitions to repurposing work.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing project teams and subcontractors, with strong supervisory and coordination skills.
- Industry Skills: Skilled in budgeting and cost control, with knowledge of regulations for demolition and environmental standards.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and regulatory agencies.
