Job Overview – Corporate Paralegal
Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000/year + bonus
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Corporate Paralegal in Stamford, CT for our client, supporting corporate governance, contract administration, entity management, legal documentation, and compliance activities within a growing global organization. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and external counsel to coordinate legal matters, maintain corporate records, manage contracts, and support a wide range of business initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong corporate paralegal experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities as the Corporate Paralegal:
- Contract Management: Draft, review, organize, and maintain commercial agreements and related legal documentation.
- Corporate Governance: Maintain corporate records, entity documentation, and legal files while supporting governance and compliance requirements.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research and assist with investigations, audits, and regulatory matters as needed.
- Litigation Support: Coordinate document collection and responses related to legal disputes, regulatory inquiries, and outside counsel requests.
- Transaction Coordination: Assist with due diligence activities, contract administration, and customer or vendor documentation associated with commercial transactions.
- Outside Counsel Management: Support engagement with external legal advisors, monitor legal expenditures, and track legal matters and deadlines.
Qualifications for the Corporate Paralegal:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of paralegal experience within a law firm or corporate legal department is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting corporate, commercial, transactional, or governance matters is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently are required.
