Atlantic Group is hiring a Corporate Communications Senior Associate in Boston, MA for our client, supporting corporate communications, media relations, and executive messaging within a professional services environment. In this role, you will develop media strategies, create thought leadership content, and partner with senior executives to elevate brand positioning across financial and business media. You will manage media relationships and support communications initiatives using digital platforms and analytics tools.
Responsibilities as the Corporate Communications Senior Associate:
- Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute media relations strategies aligned with brand positioning, campaigns, and product initiatives.
- Executive Communications: Partner with senior executives to refine messaging and support media engagements, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership content.
- Media Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with top-tier financial, business, and trade media to drive coverage and visibility.
- Content Development: Draft and edit press releases, media materials, and messaging that communicate firm insights and positioning.
- Campaigns & Reporting: Support communications campaigns and events while tracking media coverage and delivering performance reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Corporate Communications Senior Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 4–7 years of corporate communications, public relations, or media relations experience within financial services or a communications agency.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling messaging is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience using media monitoring tools, content management systems, and digital or social media platforms along with proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong writing, strategic thinking, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
