Atlantic Group is hiring a Corporate Communications Associate (Temporary) in New York, NY for our client. This temporary role supports communications across media relations, internal messaging, and content creation. You will write press releases, monitor media coverage, and ensure brand consistency across channels. Ideal candidates have experience in corporate or financial services communications with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and media monitoring or CMS tools.
Responsibilities as the Corporate Communications Associate:
- Content Development: Draft, edit, and produce press releases, website updates, social media content, and investor-facing materials.
- Media Relations: Prepare media briefs, fact sheets, and Q&As while coordinating outreach and monitoring coverage and sentiment.
- Internal Communications: Support newsletters, intranet updates, leadership messaging, and cross-departmental announcements.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track media performance, sentiment, and share of voice while preparing dashboards and insights reports to inform strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with creative teams, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
Qualifications for the Corporate Communications Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2-12 years in corporate communications, public relations, or content development, with preferred experience in financial services or alternative investments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace with experience using media monitoring tools, content management systems, and intranet platforms such as SharePoint.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of financial communications, investor messaging, and the media landscape within finance and asset management.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail, organization, and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
