Job Overview – Construction Project Manager:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee construction project deliveries, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Construction Project Manager role involves organizing and delegating tasks, managing contractors, and maintaining effective communication with clients and vendors.

Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000/year

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities as the Construction Project Manager:

  • Oversee pre-construction activities: bid solicitation, review, subcontractor negotiations, budget assembly.
  • Manage construction project schedules, including subcontractor and material deliveries.
  • Ensure construction projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Lead Construction Project Kickoff meetings to review plans and execution strategies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors.
  • Determine necessary equipment, materials, and manpower.
  • Provide monthly feedback on project costs and durations.
  • Review and process monthly payment applications with site visits.
  • Conduct frequent site visits to verify progress and site organization.
  • Track and process product submittals for timely schedule adherence.
  • Identify and resolve project conflicts.
  • Enforce company safety standards on-site.
  • Manage construction project close-out activities.

Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction/Project Management preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management or construction management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles, workflows, and OSHA compliance.
  • Proficient with construction project management software (e.g., Timberline, Procore, Autodesk).
  • 5 years of blueprint reading experience required.
  • Lean Construction Principles training preferred.
  • 10-hour OSHA required; 30-hour OSHA preferred.
  • CPR First Aid certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details, codes, regulations, and quality standards.
