Job Overview – Construction Project Manager:
Step into a key leadership role with our client as a Construction Project Manager in Boston, MA. In this on-site position, you will oversee high-end commercial renovation projects, managing all aspects of the construction process, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of quality projects that meet client expectations.

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)

Responsibilities as the Construction Project Manager:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of project execution, including budget, schedule, procurement, quality control, and risk assessment for high-end commercial renovations.
  • Client Interface: Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring project requirements align with goals and expectations.
  • Documentation Oversight: Interpret and apply complex construction documents and contracts to guide project execution.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track schedules, submittal logs, and open items, conducting status reviews and addressing issues proactively.
  • Change Management: Manage change requests, assess impacts on budget and timeline, and issue approved change orders.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify risks, conduct constructability reviews, and implement strategies to minimize impacts and maintain project success.

Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years with a commercial general contractor specializing in high-end renovations, with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in interpreting construction plans, with expertise in Microsoft Office, Procore, MS Project, and Timberline.
  • Skills: Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills for collaboration across teams and with clients.
  • Attributes: Excellent leadership qualities, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
