Job Overview – Construction Project Manager:
Take charge of our client's construction projects as a Construction Project Manager in Moorestown, NJ. This role involves overseeing every aspect of the construction process, from land development to project closeout, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead teams, collaborate with key stakeholders, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000/year
Location: Moorestown, NJ (On-Site)
Responsibilities as the Construction Project Manager:
- Leadership & Oversight: Direct and oversee superintendents and support staff, ensuring projects meet established goals and timelines.
- Project Coordination: Manage all phases of construction, coordinating efforts from land development through project completion to deliver on time and within budget.
- Quality & Standards: Enforce construction methods, quality standards, and operational procedures across all aspects of construction.
- Budget & Cost Management: Establish and monitor budgets, suggest improvements to reduce costs, and approve change orders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, designers, and other personnel to address project design and performance issues.
- Safety & Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with SWPPP and other regulatory standards.
Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Affordable Housing or Multifamily Construction, with expertise in wood-frame construction and site work.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities with a focus on quality and productivity.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Construction Expertise: In-depth knowledge of engineering, architectural drawings, and construction practices.
