Job Overview – Compliance Analyst (KYC/AML):
Join our client’s Compliance team as a Compliance Analyst (KYC/AML) in Boston, MA (Hybrid). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented compliance professional with experience in AML/KYC reviews and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for conducting client due diligence, ensuring compliance with SEC/FinCEN regulations, and supporting regulatory initiatives within a fast-paced financial environment.
Compensation: $35 – $40/hour
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Compliance Analyst (KYC/AML):
- AML/KYC Reviews & Compliance: Conduct and approve AML/KYC reviews for new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with SEC/FinCEN rules and regulatory requirements.
- Process Enhancement: Assist in refining client data collection, maintenance processes, and internal controls to improve efficiency and compliance adherence.
- Regulatory Alignment: Collaborate with Compliance teams to implement evolving AML/KYC regulations effectively within business operations.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an escalation point and knowledge resource, providing training and mentorship to junior team members and internal stakeholders.
- Operational Support: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to meet business demands and ensure seamless compliance operations.
Qualifications for the Compliance Analyst (KYC/AML):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience conducting AML/KYC reviews, preferably within registered investment advisers (RIAs) or offshore investment fund service providers.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEC/FinCEN regulations related to AML/KYC compliance.
- Certification: ACAMS or ICA Certification preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with adaptability in a fast-paced regulatory environment and a proactive approach to compliance tools.
