Job Overview – Commercial Lines Manager (Hybrid):
Join our insurance client in Southfield, MI, as a Commercial Lines Manager. In this hybrid role, you’ll supervise the team, manage accounts, and coordinate with the executive team, while overseeing account servicing, marketing, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000/year + bonus
Location: Oakland County, MI
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Commercial Lines Manager:
- Supervision: Oversee Commercial Lines personnel, ensuring efficient servicing and processing of accounts.
- Coordination: Work with the executive team to coordinate departmental activities, including time off and workload management.
- Marketing: Market new and renewal business, prepare proposals, and share marketing information with the team.
- Procedures & Compliance: Maintain and update the Commercial Lines procedures manual, ensure compliance, and address any issues that arise.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for coverage issues, review accounts regularly, and manage select accounts directly.
Qualifications for the Commercial Lines Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance, with a background in account management and team supervision.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance software (EPIC) and Microsoft Outlook.
