Job Overview – Commercial Lines Account Manager:
Our client, an insurance firm in Springfield, MA, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and support marketing efforts. You'll communicate with clients and underwriters, rate insurance products, and prepare proposals.
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000/year + bonus
Location: Hampden, MA
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
- Client Communication: Engage with clients and underwriters to resolve issues and provide excellent service.
- Insurance Rating: Rate commercial insurance products, including commercial auto, workers' compensation, and other lines.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare comprehensive insurance proposals for client presentations.
- Marketing Support: Assist Producers with marketing initiatives to grow and maintain the client base.
Qualifications for the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
- Licensure: Insurance Brokers License required.
- Experience: 2+ years in the Insurance industry, with experience in Commercial Lines.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in computer applications (Applied EPIC experience is a plus).
- Attributes: Ability to interact effectively over the phone, lead or persuade others, and overcome challenges.
