Job Overview – Commercial Construction Project Manager:
Compensation: $135,000 – $175,000/year + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Lead commercial construction projects as a Commercial Construction Project Manager with our client in Philadelphia, PA. In this on-site role, you will manage preconstruction, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and field operations while serving as the primary client contact. You’ll oversee multiple projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality standards, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager with Center City expertise.

Responsibilities as the Commercial Construction Project Manager:

  • Preconstruction & Estimating: Lead project estimating, budgeting, and bid preparation to deliver accurate cost projections.
  • Project Leadership: Act as the single point of contact for clients from preconstruction through completion, ensuring communication and satisfaction.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop schedules, direct subcontractors and vendors, and maintain workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Field Oversight: Partner with superintendents to monitor site progress, safety, and quality standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, review change orders, approve invoices, and maintain cost control throughout the project.

Qualifications for the Commercial Construction Project Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 7-12 years managing commercial construction projects, including renovations and interiors, with strong knowledge of the Philadelphia/Center City market.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of preconstruction, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and field operations within commercial construction.
  • Skills & Attributes: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
