Job Overview – Commercial Construction Project Manager:
Take charge of high-impact construction projects as a Commercial Construction Project Manager with our client in Allentown, PA. This in-office role is ideal for a results-driven professional with expertise in managing budgets, subcontractors, and project timelines. You will oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-efficiency while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Allentown, PA
Responsibilities as the Commercial Construction Project Manager:
- Project Planning & Budgeting: Review bids, scopes, and budgets to ensure cost efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and labor resources.
- Scheduling & Execution: Develop project timelines, coordinate tasks, and ensure on-time project completion.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Project Documentation & Reporting: Manage change orders, financial reports, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications for the Commercial Construction Project Manager:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
- Certification: Project Management Certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management in commercial carpentry, with field experience in commercial carpentry preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, construction accounting, and project management tools, with QuickBid and On-Screen Takeoff experience preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving, and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, coordinate teams, and execute strategic planning.
- Attributes: Highly organized and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
