Job Overview – Chargeback Analyst:
Our client is seeking a Chargeback Analyst to join their team in a remote capacity. This remote role ensures assigned payments, such as chargebacks to customers, are accurately represented and timely executed in accordance with contract guidelines. The Chargeback Analyst contributes to achieving business goals by providing high-quality analysis and recommendations.

Location: Remote
Compensation: $30 – $35/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Chargeback Analyst:

  • Chargeback Processing: Responsible for daily validation and processing of chargebacks and resubmissions from SAP error log to ensure compliance and timely payment processing.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with Government Pricing, Master Records, and contracts teams to ensure compliance with applicable business rules.
  • Manual Processing: Process chargeback claims or adjustments that are submitted manually.
  • Account Management: Complete pharma template to create new accounts as necessary.
  • Distributor Liaison: Work directly with distributors to resolve chargeback errors and send daily chargeback pricing discrepancy reports and rejections.
  • Error Resolution: Drive resolution and prevention of future EDI chargeback errors.
  • Initiatives Development: Identify and develop initiatives to support department business needs, increase automation, and improve productivity.

Qualifications for the Chargeback Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (quantitative field preferred). Master’s Degree (MBA or other healthcare-related) a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in pricing, finance, accounting, or related fields, with 2 years in the medical products industry (device and pharmaceutical sectors preferred).
  • Skills: Strong analytical and accounting skills, outstanding communication and customer service abilities, and excellent interpersonal and team-oriented skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with database queries, Excel Macros, and advanced formulas, and familiarity with Oracle, Peoplesoft, or SAP preferred.
