Job Overview – Certified Phlebotomist:
Our healthcare client in Vancouver, WA, is looking for a Certified Phlebotomist to join their growing team. In this entry-level role, you will collect and prepare blood samples for lab testing while ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for each patient.
Compensation: $20 – $24/hour
Location: Vancouver, WA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Certified Phlebotomist:
- Blood Sample Collection: Safely and accurately collect blood samples from patients for lab testing.
- Specimen Processing: Prepare blood specimens for laboratory analysis, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Patient Relations: Foster a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring patients have a comfortable and pleasant experience during blood draws.
- Confidentiality: Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain process integrity.
Qualifications for the Certified Phlebotomist:
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: 6+ months of Phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric draws (1+ years preferred).
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification required.
- Licensure: Washington State MA-P License required.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, with prior experience in retail or service environments.
- Location Requirement: Must reside within a 20-25 minute commute for flexible coverage.
