Job Overview – Business Operations Administrator
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000/year
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Business Operations Administrator in Queens, NY for our client, supporting executive administration, operational coordination, fleet management, and process improvement. This newly created role will provide direct support to senior operations leadership while helping manage workflows, reporting, scheduling, and cross-functional business activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technology-oriented, and proactive with experience supporting a fast-paced operations environment.
Responsibilities as the Business Operations Administrator:
- Executive Support: Manage calendars, scheduling, correspondence, calls, and day-to-day administrative priorities for senior operations leadership.
- Operations Coordination: Track operational activities, timelines, work requests, and business processes from initiation through completion.
- Fleet Management: Coordinate company vehicle assignments, insurance documentation, credentials, records, and other fleet administration requirements.
- Financial Support: Partner with accounting and billing teams to maintain accurate operational records and support timely revenue and expense processing.
- Process Improvement: Analyze workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement improvements that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and organization.
- Project Coordination: Support operational projects, maintain data and reporting, and coordinate priorities across internal teams and external locations.
Qualifications for the Business Operations Administrator:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive administrative, executive support, or business operations experience is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within facilities management, property management, hospitality, healthcare, logistics, or another service-oriented operational environment is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and business systems is required, with NetSuite experience highly preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Excellent organization, communication, problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail are required, with a proactive approach, strong technology aptitude, and bilingual skills preferred.
