Atlantic Group is hiring a Business Development Manager (Construction) in Philadelphia, PA with our client, a leading commercial construction firm. You will drive new business development, manage client relationships, and lead RFP and proposal efforts across commercial and institutional projects. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven professional with strong industry knowledge and a proven track record of driving growth in the construction market.

Responsibilities as the Business Development Manager (Construction):

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial, institutional, and industrial construction sectors.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, developers, and key stakeholders.
  • Market Strategy: Research competitors, market trends, and upcoming projects to drive strategic growth.
  • RFP & Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs and proposals in collaboration with estimating and marketing teams.
  • Sales Execution: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence.

Qualifications for the Business Development Manager (Construction):

  • Experience: 5-10 years of business development or sales experience in commercial construction or related industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce, with experience in RFPs, contract negotiation, and proposal management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction process, project delivery methods, and regional construction market dynamics.
  • Skills & Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven professional with strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, able to manage multiple priorities strategically.
