Atlantic Group is hiring a Business Development Manager (Accounting Services) in Philadelphia, PA for our client, supporting client acquisition, relationship management, new business development, and sales growth within the accounting and financial services sector. In this fully remote role, you will generate new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and promote outsourced accounting and finance solutions across multiple industries. The ideal candidate has business development experience within accounting, finance, or professional services and can work independently while supporting the Philadelphia market through local travel and networking.

Responsibilities as the Business Development Manager:

  • Business Development: Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, business partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct meetings, presentations, and discovery discussions to educate prospective clients on accounting and financial service solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized service offerings and proposals that align with client needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Track leads, opportunities, sales activity, and client communications within a CRM platform to support business development efforts.

Qualifications for the Business Development Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of business development, sales, client relationship management, or professional services development experience is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience within accounting, finance, outsourced accounting, consulting, professional services, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, sales tracking tools, and HubSpot or similar systems is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals are required.
