Atlantic Group is hiring an Applications Analyst II (Clinical Systems) for our client in Boston, MA. This temporary role builds and optimizes Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules to support surgical workflows. You’ll work with clinical and technical teams to improve efficiency, ensure system integrity, and maintain compliance. Ideal for an Epic-certified professional with expertise in anesthesia workflows and system optimization.
Responsibilities as the Applications Analyst II:
- Epic Build & Optimization: Design, build, and maintain Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows and compliance standards.
- Workflow Integration: Translate clinical and operational requirements into Epic configurations, maintaining consistency and clear documentation.
- Collaboration: Partner with clinical SMEs, business managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Testing & Go-Live Support: Develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and support go-live readiness and post-implementation optimization.
- System Enhancements: Evaluate and implement Epic upgrades, enhancements, and new features while maintaining detailed documentation and user training.
Qualifications for the Applications Analyst II:
- Certification: Epic Certification in OpTime and Anesthesia required, current and held for at least 3 years.
- Experience: 3+ years of Epic build, configuration, and implementation experience in a healthcare setting post-certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SFTP connectivity, device integration, Epic upgrade management, and system documentation processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of surgical and anesthesia workflows, clinical decision support, and perioperative documentation.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, skilled in cross-team collaboration and creating clear documentation for clinical and technical users.
