Atlantic Group is hiring an Agile Product Owner (Temporary) in Greenwich, CT for our client. This temporary role leads product planning and execution within Agile and SAFe frameworks, managing priorities across development teams. You’ll translate business goals into actionable backlogs, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-impact solutions. Ideal for experienced Agile professionals with strong product management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities as the Agile Product Owner:

  • Product Backlog Management: Define, refine, and prioritize backlog items to align with business goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executives, business teams, and developers to gather requirements and communicate progress.
  • Roadmapping & Delivery: Maintain the product roadmap and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases on time.
  • Performance Optimization: Use data and feedback to improve product functionality, user experience, and overall performance.

Qualifications for the Agile Product Owner:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in product ownership, Agile project management, or software development, with proven success leading Agile teams.
  • Certification: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Agile lifecycle tools, with familiarity in software development processes and SDLC methodologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in technology-driven or financial services environments, with strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strategic, proactive, and organized leader with strong analytical and communication skills, skilled at managing priorities and driving results in fast-paced environments.
