Job Overview – Administrative Assistant:
Our client is searching for a proactive Administrative Assistant to join their team and provide high-level administrative support. In this dynamic remote role, you will conduct research, handle information requests, and perform various clerical functions, acting as the information and communication hub for the office.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $18 – $19/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Administrative Assistant:
- Administrative Support: Provide assistance in the day-to-day administration of the unit and follow up on pending matters.
- Document Preparation: Type correspondence, reports, memoranda, special projects, technical papers, and related materials for unit staff.
- Research and Reporting: Research information, compile statistics, gather and summarize data to prepare complex, non-standard reports.
- Communication Management: Receive and screen telephone calls, mail, and visitors. Route callers, take messages, and answer questions related to the unit's function.
- Correspondence: Compose letters and memoranda from verbal direction or knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings and facilities, including travel and lodging arrangements.
- File Management: Organize and maintain files, correspondence, records, and other documents.
Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant required.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, multitasking, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Previous experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
