Job Overview – Accounts Payables Manager:
Take on a leadership role with our client as an Accounts Payables Manager in Tampa, FL. This temporary role involves overseeing a dynamic AP team, optimizing corporate AP processes, and fostering partnerships within the organization. Your expertise in vendor management and financial operations will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Compensation: $45 – $48/hour
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities as the Accounts Payables Manager:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a 15-member AP team servicing multiple business units and platforms across various ERPs.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage corporate AP functions, including invoice processing, wires, ACH, and check transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to key compliance standards, documentation protocols, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Technology Optimization: Provide insights on implementing new technologies and services to streamline the AP cycle and enhance operations.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor-related activities, follow fraud prevention procedures, and address vendor issues in collaboration with Purchasing and Global Sourcing teams.
  • Audit Collaboration: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audit teams on vendor-related inquiries.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payables Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in Accounts Payables or Financial Operations, with at least 5 years of Team Management experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrates problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills while excelling in organization, prioritization, and team collaboration to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel) with expertise in purchase order processes and vendor management.
