Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to play a pivotal role in guiding strategic business decisions during a substantial scale-up phase. Leveraging a passion for the industry and a knack for complex problem-solving, the ideal candidate will manage the monthly close, ensure reporting integrity, identify revenue/cost drivers, and promote fiscal health through sound analysis, reconciliation, and controls.

 

Compensation: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00

Location: New Jersey (Multiple Locations)

 

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant include:

  • Owning the monthly close including reconciliations
  • Maintaining fixed asset and balance sheet integrity
  • Preparing sales/excise tax documentation
  • Enabling seamless regulatory audits
  • Researching financial trends and benchmarking
  • Providing recommendations on growth levers
  • Documenting processes and enhancing control

Requirements of the Senior Financial Accountant include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
  • 5+ years managing ERP financial systems
  • Sharp analytical and communication talents
  • Highly organized with superb attention to detail
  • Values learning, clarity, and vision
