Compensation: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 base salary + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA – Onsite

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer include:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for projects in healthcare, data center, life sciences, and bio-pharma industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software applications to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform load calculations using Trane Trace or equivalent programs to ensure system efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis and evaluation of mechanical systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to meet client expectations and project requirements.

Qualifications of the Mechanical Design Engineer include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Mechanical Engineer license in good standing.
  • 7+ years of mechanical design and construction industry-specific experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software applications.
  • Experience with Trane Trace or equivalent load calculation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
