Job Overview – Manufacturing Operations Coordinator
Compensation: $25–$29/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator in Philadelphia, PA for our client, supporting administrative, documentation, and production activities within a manufacturing and construction environment. This hands-on role will coordinate shipping and compliance documentation, maintain production records, perform data entry, and work directly with shop personnel to support efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, computer savvy, highly organized, and comfortable working in both an office and active production environment.
Responsibilities as the Manufacturing Operations Coordinator:
- Production Documentation: Maintain accurate job records, production paperwork, compliance certificates, and supporting documentation for incoming materials and customer orders.
- Shipping Coordination: Prepare Bills of Lading, production tags, shipping documentation, and related materials to support accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Data Management: Enter and maintain job, production, and shipping information within internal software systems while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Shop Operations: Work directly with production personnel to coordinate documentation, resolve discrepancies, and support day-to-day shop activities.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers by phone, email, and in person regarding documentation, orders, and operational needs.
- Administrative Support: Organize records, maintain files, and provide general administrative and operational support to shop leadership.
Qualifications for the Manufacturing Operations Coordinator:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical school, construction technology, manufacturing, or related training preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of construction, manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, operations, administrative, or related experience is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing, construction, production, shipping, or industrial operations is required, with mechanical aptitude strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer and data entry skills are required, with manufacturing or production management software experience preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, customer service, dependability, technical aptitude, and willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced shop environment are required.
