Job Overview – Personal Lines Account Manager
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000/year + bonus
Location: Norfolk County, MA
Atlantic Group is hiring a Personal Lines Account Manager in Norfolk County, MA for our client, supporting personal insurance accounts, client relationship management, policy servicing, and coverage administration within a growing insurance environment. This role will work closely with clients and internal teams to manage policy renewals, coverage recommendations, account servicing, and new business opportunities while ensuring a high level of customer support and operational accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring prior personal lines insurance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities as the Personal Lines Account Manager:
- Client Account Management: Manage and service assigned personal insurance accounts while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Coverage Analysis: Review insurance policies, coverage limits, and client needs while providing recommendations and coverage guidance.
- Policy Administration: Prepare applications, renewals, endorsements, invoices, quotes, and related insurance documentation for assigned accounts.
- New Business Development: Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and additional coverage solutions within existing client relationships.
- Agency System Management: Maintain accurate client and policy information within the agency management system and ensure timely documentation updates.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve policy issues, support renewals, and maintain high service standards.
Qualifications for the Personal Lines Account Manager:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Licensure: Active Property & Casualty Producer’s License is required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience servicing personal lines insurance accounts within an insurance agency environment is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal lines insurance coverages, policy administration, renewals, and insurance markets is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with agency management systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and insurance-related software platforms is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are required.
