Job Overview – Financial Reporting Analyst (Temporary)
Compensation: $50/hour
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Reporting Analyst in Greenwich, CT for our client. This temporary role supports financial reporting, forecasting, reconciliations, and finance operations within a fast-paced investment management environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with financial reporting and data analysis.
Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Analyst (Temporary):
- Forecasting Support: Assist with preparation and consolidation of bi-monthly expense forecasts and related financial analyses.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger expenses against forecast expectations while researching and analyzing variances.
- Accounting Support: Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and accounting-related finance activities.
- Operational Reporting: Support recurring reporting, forecasting, and operational analysis activities.
- Governance Documentation: Prepare meeting materials, committee documentation, and governance-related reporting deliverables.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large financial data sets and prepare summary schedules, commentary, and management reporting for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Analyst (Temporary):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of financial reporting, FP&A, accounting, or operational finance experience is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting financial reporting, forecasting, reconciliations, and expense management processes is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, communication skills, organizational capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are required.
