Atlantic Group is hiring a Bilingual Staffing Coordinator in Queens, NY for our client, supporting payroll processing, employee scheduling, and day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on managing timekeeping, coordinating staffing needs, and resolving payroll discrepancies while maintaining accurate records and supporting internal teams. The position requires Spanish fluency, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities as the Bilingual Staffing Coordinator:
- Dispatch Coordination: Assign employees to daily job sites based on availability, demand, and operational priorities.
- Employee Communication: Manage high-volume calls and emails from employees and supervisors regarding scheduling, coverage, and work assignments.
- Staffing Support: Track attendance, document absences, and coordinate coverage to maintain consistent workforce levels.
- Payroll Coordination: Research timekeeping discrepancies, support payroll processing, and review labor reports for accuracy.
- Reporting and Tracking: Maintain staffing records, monitor workforce activity, and generate reports on staffing and payroll data.
- HR Support: Assist with onboarding, offboarding coordination, and employee record management.
Qualifications for the Bilingual Staffing Coordinator:
- Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish fluency is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in HR, staffing, or administrative support with payroll exposure is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of HR processes, payroll coordination, and workforce operations is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, communication skills, ability to multitask, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
