Job Overview – Fund Accounting Manager (Temporary)
Compensation: $50 – $100/hour (Dependent on Experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Fund Accounting Manager (Temporary) in New York, NY for our client, supporting fund accounting, financial reporting, and operations across alternative investment structures. In this temporary role, you will manage waterfall calculations, oversee NAV reporting, and support capital activity while ensuring accuracy across private fund accounting processes. You will partner with internal teams and external service providers to support audits, reporting, and fund operations.
Responsibilities as the Fund Accounting Manager (Temporary):
- Fund Accounting Oversight: Manage accounting and operations across private fund structures, including partnership and offshore entities.
- Waterfall Calculations: Perform and review carried interest, incentive fee, and waterfall calculations.
- NAV & Reporting: Oversee monthly NAV packages, financial reporting, and partner capital account activity.
- Capital Activity: Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
- Audit Coordination: Support audits by managing requests and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Fund Accounting Manager (Temporary):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience: 6+ years of fund accounting or investment operations experience within private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of private fund structures, GAAP, and waterfall modeling including carried interest and incentive fee calculations is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with fund accounting systems and financial reporting tools is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
