Job Overview – Compliance Associate (Private Equity)
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year base ($250,000 All-In)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Compliance Associate (Private Equity) in New York, NY for our client, supporting regulatory compliance, monitoring, and policy administration within an alternative investment environment. In this hybrid role, you will oversee Code of Ethics compliance, support regulatory filings, and contribute to compliance testing and internal controls. You will partner with investment, legal, and operations teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and firm policies.
Responsibilities as the Compliance Associate (Private Equity):
- Compliance Program Support: Assist with day-to-day compliance activities including Code of Ethics monitoring, personal trading reviews, and quarterly certifications.
- Regulatory Filings: Support preparation and maintenance of regulatory filings and ensure compliance records are accurate and audit-ready.
- Compliance Testing: Participate in testing, mock exams, and internal reviews to assess control effectiveness and regulatory readiness.
- Regulatory Research: Monitor regulatory developments and assist with implementing new policies and compliance requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with investment, legal, and operations teams to support compliance initiatives and firm-wide standards.
Qualifications for the Compliance Associate (Private Equity):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is required, and a background in Legal Studies, Compliance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 4-7 years of compliance or legal experience within private equity, private markets, or investment advisory environments.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of investment adviser compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal control environments is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience using compliance monitoring systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and exposure to tools such as MyComplianceOffice or Global Relay is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams in a regulated environment.
