Job Overview – Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance)
Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance) in Boston, MA for our client, supporting a diverse portfolio of middle-market and small business accounts across property and casualty insurance programs. In this hybrid role, you will manage policy servicing, renewals, and client relationships while leveraging agency management systems such as AMS 360 or Applied EPIC, carrier portals, and rating tools to deliver high-quality client support and ensure retention.
Responsibilities as the Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance):
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing coverage guidance, policy support, and ongoing service.
- Policy Servicing & Administration: Manage endorsements, certificates, binders, and policy changes while ensuring accuracy and carrier compliance.
- Renewals & Marketing Coordination: Support renewal strategy, prepare submissions, and work with carriers to secure competitive terms.
- Coverage Review & Advisory: Analyze exposures and policies to identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions aligned with client needs.
- Carrier & Documentation Management: Coordinate with carriers and maintain accurate records within the agency management system.
Qualifications for the Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience within an insurance agency supporting commercial lines accounts, including exposure to professional lines coverage.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial lines insurance products, policy structures, coverage terminology, and risk management principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using AMS 360, Applied EPIC, or similar agency management systems and commercial rating platforms preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented professional with excellent client service skills, strong communication abilities, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
