Atlantic Group is hiring a Finance Operations Assistant (Temp-to-Perm) in New York, NY for our client. This hybrid role supports the CFO and finance team by managing schedules, reporting timelines, investor requests, and coordination with auditors and external partners. You will play a key role in supporting fund reporting, audits, tax deliverables, and investor communications, making this an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional seeking long-term growth in an investment-focused environment.
Responsibilities as the Finance Operations Assistant:
- Executive & Stakeholder Coordination: Manage the CFO’s calendar and scheduling while serving as a key liaison with investors, auditors, fund administrators, bankers, vendors, and senior leadership.
- Close, Audit & Reporting: Support quarterly and annual closes, investor reporting, audits, and tax deliverables by coordinating timelines, tracking requests, and ensuring accurate information flow.
- Investor Request Management: Maintain and update the investor request log daily, tracking statuses, deadlines, and follow-ups to support timely responses.
- Financial Materials Preparation: Prepare and format financial presentations, partner materials, LP communications, and meeting documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Finance Operations & Projects: Process expense reports and vendor payments, maintain organized financial and compliance records, and assist with ad hoc finance projects and performance reporting.
Qualifications for the Finance Operations Assistant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in finance operations, fund administration support, executive finance support, or a similar analytical or administrative role within financial services.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with investment management or fund operations workflows, including reporting cycles, audits, and investor communications preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong document formatting and organizational skills.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
