Job Overview – Compliance Analyst (Temporary)
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Compliance Analyst (Temporary) in Stamford, CT for our client, supporting Personal Trading and Code of Ethics compliance across U.S. operations. In this temporary, in-office role, you will manage employee disclosures, trade monitoring, and regulatory documentation using StarCompliance while partnering with employees, external advisors, and internal compliance teams to ensure timely reviews, accurate reconciliations, and policy adherence.
Responsibilities as the Compliance Analyst:
- Personal Trading Oversight: Review employee trade requests, respond to inquiries, and resolve daily transaction-related cases for potential personal trading violations.
- Account Disclosures & Monitoring: Manage employee personal account disclosures, link accounts to broker data feeds, and request and track required account statements.
- Code of Ethics Administration: Review and manage Code of Ethics disclosures, including private investments, outside activities, related persons, and gifts and entertainment.
- Reconciliations & Reviews: Perform periodic reconciliations of broker data feeds, personal accounts, and account statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Employee Lifecycle & Support: Support onboarding and offboarding in compliance systems, coordinate with external advisors for documentation, and circulate employee certifications.
Qualifications for the Compliance Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Legal Studies, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of compliance experience within investment or asset management, with hands-on personal trading compliance exposure.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with the Star Compliance system required, with comfort managing broker feeds, trade monitoring, and disclosure workflows.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Code of Ethics requirements, personal trading policies, and regulatory expectations within an investment management setting.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
