Atlantic Group is hiring a Construction Project Manager (Healthcare & Education) in Philadelphia, PA for our client. In this on-site role, you will manage ground-up and renovation construction projects across healthcare and higher education environments, overseeing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and compliance from preconstruction through closeout. You will collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to deliver high-quality projects while meeting safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities as the Construction Project Manager:

  • Project Delivery: Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including ground-up and renovation work within healthcare and higher education environments.
  • Schedule & Budget Control: Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets while tracking progress, managing costs, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Subcontractor Oversight: Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, oversee on-site operations, and ensure work meets contract documents and quality standards.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to healthcare and education regulations, safety requirements, and site-specific protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to drive communication and resolve issues.

Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of project management experience with a general contractor, including ground-up and renovation projects within healthcare and higher education environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project, along with strong Excel and reporting skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare and education construction standards, scheduling, cost controls, subcontractor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills & Attributes: Organized, detail-oriented leader with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and comfort working full-time on-site in an active construction environment.
