Atlantic Group is hiring a Construction Project Manager (Healthcare) in New York, NY for our client, supporting hospital and healthcare construction projects in highly regulated environments. In this on-site role, you will oversee ground-up and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, and compliance requirements. You will partner closely with ownership, consultants, and field teams to deliver complex healthcare projects within a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities as the Construction Project Manager:

  • Project Management & Delivery: Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality across ground-up and renovation work.
  • Healthcare Construction Oversight: Lead construction activities within active hospital environments, coordinating phasing, shutdowns, and infection control to minimize operational disruption.
  • Scheduling & Cost Control: Develop project schedules, manage budgets and change orders, and provide accurate cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and approval processes involving HHS, CMS, NYSDOH, PHHPC, and related agencies.
  • Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders while serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of general contracting project management experience on hospital or healthcare projects, with exposure to both ground-up and renovation construction.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with construction project management tools, scheduling software, and cost tracking systems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive working knowledge of healthcare construction regulations and approval processes involving HHS, CMS, NYSDOH, PHHPC, and related agencies.
  • Skills & Attributes: Highly organized and adaptable professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
