Job Overview – Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000/year + bonus
Location: Essex County, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager in Essex County, MA for our client, supporting personal lines accounts, client relationships, and policy management. In this role, you will manage renewals, process endorsements, handle coverage inquiries, and support claims across auto, home, umbrella, and specialty lines. This opportunity is ideal for experienced retail agency professionals with an active Property and Casualty license and a strong client service focus.
Responsibilities as the Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:
- Client Service & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, delivering timely, accurate, and professional service.
- Policy Administration & Renewals: Manage endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing inquiries in a compliant and efficient manner.
- Quoting & Remarketing: Prepare new business quotes and remarket policies to secure competitive pricing and appropriate coverage.
- Claims Support: Assist clients throughout the claims process, providing guidance, communication, and follow-up through resolution.
- Account Growth & Retention: Identify coverage gaps and recommend cross-sell or upsell opportunities to strengthen client relationships and retention.
Qualifications for the Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a retail insurance agency managing personal lines accounts, with experience in auto, home, umbrella, and specialty insurance strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with agency management systems (e.g., Epic, Applied), Microsoft Office Suite, and online carrier platforms.
- Skills & Attributes: Proficient in Massachusetts registry processes, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
