Job Overview – Project Coordinator (Temporary)
Compensation: $45/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Project Coordinator (Temporary) in Boston, MA for our client, supporting project planning, coordination, and operational reporting across active initiatives. In this temp-to-perm role, you will partner with project managers and cross-functional stakeholders to manage schedules, track deliverables, prepare status updates, and maintain accurate project documentation while ensuring timelines and priorities stay aligned in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities as the Project Coordinator:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Support project schedules, budgets, scope, deliverables, and resource coordination to keep projects on track.
- Administrative & Financial Support: Manage invoices, purchase orders, budgets, expense tracking, and project documentation with accurate version control.
- Stakeholder & Meeting Coordination: Organize meetings, prepare materials, capture notes, and serve as a liaison across teams, clients, and vendors.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor milestones, timelines, and deliverables while preparing clear status updates for project leadership.
- Risk & Issue Management: Track risks and issues, escalate concerns, and support timely resolution to maintain project alignment.
Qualifications for the Project Coordinator:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or administrative roles within a deadline-driven environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with project workflows, documentation standards, budgeting support, and cross-functional coordination.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with experience using project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem-solve under tight deadlines.
