Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Construction Superintendent (Renovation) in Washington, DC for our client. In this on-site role, you will lead day-to-day field operations across complex renovation, adaptive reuse, and high-rise projects, ensuring safe execution, quality craftsmanship, and schedule adherence. You will oversee subcontractors, site logistics, and construction sequencing in active or occupied environments while leveraging tools such as Procore to drive field coordination and operational excellence.

Responsibilities as the Senior Construction Superintendent (Renovation):

  • Field Operations Leadership: Direct all on-site construction activities to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans and schedules.
  • Renovation & Adaptive Reuse Execution: Oversee renovation, adaptive reuse, and high-rise construction within existing or occupied buildings while minimizing disruption.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractors and trade partners by coordinating daily work plans, sequencing, and manpower to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Schedule & Site Logistics Management: Maintain lookahead schedules while coordinating site logistics, deliveries, crane operations, and material staging.
  • Safety & Compliance Oversight: Enforce jobsite safety protocols, OSHA compliance, and quality control standards across all phases of construction.

Qualifications for the Senior Construction Superintendent (Renovation):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in renovation, adaptive reuse, and high-rise construction, with a strong background leading field operations.
  • Technical Skills: Procore proficiency required, with hands-on experience coordinating tower crane operations and complex site logistics.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience delivering multifamily or hospitality and hotel renovation projects in urban environments.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage fast-paced, detail-driven construction sites.
