Job Overview – Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance):
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000/year + bonus
Location: Bristol County, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance) in Bristol County, MA for our client, an opportunity supporting commercial insurance servicing, client relationship management, renewals, and claims coordination across small to mid-sized business accounts. In this hybrid role, you will manage end-to-end client interactions, oversee renewals and policy changes, coordinate with internal support teams, and deliver high-touch service while leveraging agency management systems and commercial insurance workflows.
Responsibilities as the Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance):
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts, managing all client inquiries from intake through resolution and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Policy Servicing & Account Support: Respond to inbound client requests, assist with coverage questions, and submit policy changes accurately and timely to internal commercial lines support teams.
- Renewals & Annual Reviews: Manage account renewals and conduct annual coverage reviews on assigned accounts to ensure accuracy, retention, and alignment with client needs.
- Claims Coordination: Report, track, and manage assigned commercial claims while serving as a liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Collaboration & Management: Partner closely with internal teams to balance workloads, maintain open activities until completion, and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.
Qualifications for the Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance):
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of commercial lines account management, insurance servicing, or client-facing experience within an insurance agency or brokerage environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience with agency management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and insurance carrier portals, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and workflows efficiently.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of commercial insurance products, policy servicing, renewals, claims processes, and client service best practices.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, client-focused professional with strong communication skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
