Job Overview – Litigation Legal Assistant:
Compensation: $58,000 – $70,000/year
Location: Bucks County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant in Bucks County, PA with our client. This hybrid role supports attorneys across litigation, municipal matters, and workers’ compensation cases. You will prepare legal documents, manage docketing and case files, coordinate state and federal filings, and serve as a key contact for clients, courts, and internal teams. Experience with litigation workflows, case management systems, and e-filing platforms is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities as the Litigation Legal Assistant:
- Attorney Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys across litigation, municipal, and workers’ compensation matters.
- Document Preparation & Filing: Draft and format pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence, and manage state and federal e-filings.
- Docketing & Case Management: Maintain docketing, deadlines, case files, exhibits, and materials for hearings, depositions, and meetings.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate attorney calendars, hearings, depositions, mediations, and related logistics.
- Client & Office Support: Communicate with clients, courts, and counsel while assisting with billing, time entry, and general administrative tasks.
Qualifications for the Litigation Legal Assistant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of litigation legal assistant or paralegal experience, with exposure to workers’ compensation or personal injury matters preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, case management software, and state and federal e-filing systems, with strong docketing and calendaring skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with litigation processes, municipal law procedures, court rules, and case lifecycle management.
- Skills & Attributes: Organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, deadline management ability, and a proactive, dependable approach in a fast-paced legal setting.
