Atlantic Group is hiring a Commercial Insurance Producer (Property & Casualty) in Providence, RI, for our client. In this in-office role, you’ll develop new business, manage client relationships, and deliver tailored insurance solutions across commercial lines. Identify exposures, recommend coverage, and negotiate with carriers to drive growth. Ideal for licensed producers with strong sales skills and proven success in property and casualty insurance.
Responsibilities as the Commercial Insurance Producer:
- Business Development: Identify, solicit, and secure new commercial lines business through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
- Client Advisory: Evaluate client risks, recommend coverage solutions, and tailor insurance programs to eliminate gaps.
- Account Management: Deliver exceptional service, manage renewals, and strengthen retention through proactive communication.
- Sales Strategy: Contribute to sales plans, achieve growth targets, and maintain a profitable book of business.
- Carrier Relations: Negotiate with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive terms and ensure compliance with underwriting standards.
Qualifications for the Commercial Insurance Producer:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Licensure: Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of commercial insurance sales or account management experience focused on property and casualty lines.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, with familiarity in social media prospecting platforms for lead generation.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management principles.
- Skills & Attributes: Motivated sales professional with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, organized and goal-oriented.
