Job Overview – Remote Account Executive (Employee Benefits):
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000/year + bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Remote)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Remote Account Executive (Employee Benefits) with our client. In this fully remote role, you will manage mid-to-large group employee benefit accounts focused on Life, Disability, and Leave programs. You’ll handle RFPs, conduct market analyses, and oversee client deliverables while ensuring high-quality service and data accuracy. This role is ideal for insurance professionals with group benefits or underwriting experience who excel in client management, data analysis, and strategic plan administration.
Responsibilities as the Remote Account Executive (Employee Benefits):
- Client Management: Serve as the main contact for client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely benefit plan execution.
- RFP Coordination: Prepare and analyze RFPs for Life, Disability, and Leave programs while managing vendor responses.
- Data Analysis: Validate and integrate data sets to create detailed client reports and market comparisons.
- Policy Review: Review benefit plan documents and agreements to ensure accuracy and prevent coverage gaps.
- Process Improvement: Identify outdated benefit designs and recommend enhancements to improve pricing and risk alignment.
Qualifications for the Remote Account Executive (Employee Benefits):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in group insurance, employee benefits, or underwriting with strong knowledge of Life, AD&D, Disability, and Leave programs.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling) with experience in PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of risk and insurance principles, RFP processes, and integrated disability and absence management programs preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong communication and client service skills, adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
