Atlantic Group is hiring a Commercial Insurance Operations Director in Providence, RI with our client, leading the Commercial Lines division. You will manage service and support teams, drive client satisfaction, improve workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance. This opportunity is ideal for experienced insurance leaders with deep commercial lines expertise, proven management success, and a commitment to client growth and service excellence.

Responsibilities as the Commercial Insurance Operations Director:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor Commercial Lines staff, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Client Service Oversight: Maintain high service standards, resolve complex client issues, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, monitor KPIs, and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure regulatory compliance, track key service metrics, and present performance reports to leadership.
  • Strategic Growth: Partner with Sales and leadership on initiatives that drive client retention, account growth, and resource alignment.

Qualifications for the Commercial Insurance Operations Director:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field required.
  • Licensure: P&C Broker License preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in the insurance industry with expertise in Commercial Lines and proven leadership in management roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to leverage insurance software platforms and reporting tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong expertise in commercial insurance products, policies, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills with the ability to manage priorities in fast-paced environments.
