Job Overview – Quality Control Inspector (Receiving):
Compensation: $33/hour
Location: Middlesex County, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Quality Control Inspector (Receiving) for our client in Middlesex County, MA. In this role, you will inspect incoming materials and returned products, review quality records, and support Quality Management System (QMS) activities. You will also maintain a safe lab environment, assist with internal audits, and provide cross-functional support to ensure compliance in a regulated, quality-driven setting.
Responsibilities as the Quality Control Inspector (Receiving):
- Receiving & Inspection: Perform receipt, unpacking, and inspection of returned medical devices to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Quality Compliance: Review Lot Acceptance Records and Device History Records (DHRs) for accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Data & Record Management: Maintain accurate data entry and quality records in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Laboratory Maintenance: Uphold a clean, safe, and organized lab environment by following safety and quality protocols.
- Audit & Collaboration: Support internal quality audits and provide cross-functional assistance to meet shifting operational needs.
Qualifications for the Quality Control Inspector (Receiving):
- Education: High School diploma required.
- Experience: 1-2 years in receiving, inspection, or material handling within a regulated or quality-focused environment, with medical device or laboratory experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, experience creating and analyzing charts (including Pareto charts) preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with regulated industries, quality systems, and biohazard or laboratory environments preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
